Can tax payments be made over the phone?
Yes, they can. Just call 1-800-272-9829.


When are tax payments due?
Summer taxes are due on or before September 14th without penalty. 1% interest starts Septmeber 15th and the first of every month another 1% is added until payment is made. For the Winter taxes payments are due on or before February 14th. On February 15th 3% interest is added through the end of February. March 1st all delinquent Real Property Taxes are sent to Wayne County Treasurer for collection. Personal property taxes are still payable to Huron Township.


When do tax bills get sent out?
Tax bills are mailed out in July for the Summer Schools taxes and in December for the Winter taxes.
