Parks & Recreation Commission

The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Commission shall be to act as an advisory and recommending body to the Township Board of Trustees on matters pertaining to recreation within the Township. Including but not limited to, the development of recreational programs and the improvement of recreational activities. The Commission is created under Recreation and Playgrounds Act 156 of 1917. An Act authorizing cities, villages, counties, townships and school districts to operate systems of public recreation and playgrounds.

Commission Openings

There are currently no openings on the Recreation Commission. However, you can still send in a letter of interest to the township at anytime.

Meets on the 1st Tuesday of every other month at 7:00 P.M unless otherwise noted in the 2012 Meeting Schedule.
